Ministry Connection | April-May

Fast Forward

April proved to be one of the busiest months of ministry that we have had so far. Typically we schedule meetings regionally, but as a result of pastors contacting us, we managed to zig zag our way across the Eastern half of the country and back.  Starting in Florida, we began a whirlwind tour that took us to five churches in five states in two weeks. From Florida we drove to Ohio, then went east to Maryland, crossed back to Indiana, and finished in North Carolina before heading back home to Florida. During that time, we were in two Missions Conferences, two Sunday morning and evening services, and a Wednesday morning Bible Study and evening service. Even with all the traveling, we managed to visit the Creation Museum and Washington D.C. to make the journey more enjoyable for the whole family.

Maddy-Daddy Time

With that tour completed, Kristine stayed home with Kasie and Camden to pack the house while Phil and Madisyn flew to Colorado for a Missions Conference. Phil enjoyed the responsibility of leading singing and special music while also presenting our ministry. Madisyn demonstrated her maturity by helping with the display table. Having children old enough to assist in the ministry is a blessing.

Back to the East Coast

The travelers made it home in time to spend Easter with the family in Florida, and we enjoyed Easter dinner with Kristine’s parents. Kristine’s mom, Cindy, is doing exceptionally well despite her brain cancer. Thank you for your faithful prayers for her! God is getting all of the glory for her strength and health.

In May, we enjoyed a Missions Conference in Pennsylvania, and then spent Mother’s Day in Florida with Kristine’s parents. Our final conference for the spring was up in Virginia. The rest of May will consist of clearing out our home and storing our belongings to await our move next year. We are celebrating our anniversary this month and rejoicing in the twelve wonderful years of marriage that God has blessed us with. At the end of the month, Kristine will attend the Florida Homeschool Convention and will get recharged as she begins her second year of “van schooling”.  The past two months have been very busy and rewarding. We have been in some of the finest ministries in America and are grateful for the opportunity to share our burden for Indonesia with each of them. Thank you for your prayers and for the role that you play in our ministry.
